As a large Adobe reseller, we constantly come across a big problem experienced by IT procurement management. The poor guys constantly battle to keep track of what software is out there, who it is being used by and whether it is up-to-date or not.
Well, Adobe has taken care of that problem in Adobe® Creative Cloud™ for Teams
When you use Creative Cloud, a web-based console allows for simple, centralised purchasing and software licence management. You and your designated administrators can quickly add, assign, or transfer seats, and track usage by team members. You also control the ordering and purchasing from the same easy-to-use interface. In addition, you can deploy software immediately, while you are still processing your purchase order, providing immediate user satisfaction.
‘Yes, but how do I know when the software is due for renewal?’ we hear you ask.
The answer is that Creative Cloud for Teams subscriptions have one common renewal date. Furthermore, all the licence detail is available and easily accessible via the console. Any interim seats purchased are prorated for the period up until renewal.
But what about upgrades and maintenance?’
These are something of the past when it comes to Creative Cloud. You pay one subscription for the full suite of products and your team members get access to new applications and feature updates as soon as they are released, giving them the ability to stay well ahead of the curve. Upgrades and maintenance are therefore automatic and included in your subscription.
Our experience also tells us that when it comes to creative workflows, managing the sharing of files, mock-ups, designs and the like effectively can be a nightmare. Who has the latest version? What has been approved? What drive is it on? These issues waste valuable creative time and disrupt those valuable flows of creative juice.
Creative Cloud for Teams makes it easy for your team to collaborate and share files both inside and outside of your organisation (leveraging 100GB of storage), as well as being able to explore services for publishing websites, iPad apps, and more. The team can break down the barriers to getting your content out to the world. With Creative Cloud™, they get access to Adobe web hosting services that make it easy to publish websites. They can also deliver stunning digital publications to iPad, all without having to write a line of code.
Best of all their actual software is on their desktop – just like it always was - and they can access all of the new Adobe Creative Suite 6® desktop applications they want, plus a host of additional tools and services—Adobe Muse, Acrobat XI, Lightroom 4, Adobe Edge, and more.

What does it cost?
You pay the equivalent in local currency of US$70 p.m. as a subscription. You pay the monthly fee upfront in advance for the months remaining until your renewal month. So, if you had 6 months to go until your annual renewal month (remember this is a common month for all your Creative Cloud subscriptions), you would pay 6 x $70 = $420 in advance. If this was your first subscription, you would pay 12 x $70 = $840 for the full first twelve months.
